About the School

Semarang International School was created in 1982 by a group of parents who recognised the need for an international school in Semarang. The school is the only officially registered, non-profit international school in Semarang.

One of the things people first notice about our school is the warm and caring family atmosphere. An advantage of being a small school is that staff, students and families get to know each other well and children receive individual attention.

Our students come from a diverse range of backgrounds. We currently have different nationalities represented at our school and we celebrate this priceless cultural resource . Students soon understand and appreciate friends and classmates belonging to different cultural and religious groups. Semarang International School is a true international school that celebrates diversity along with academic excellence in Indonesia.
