Extra Curricular Activities

Extra Curricular Activities’ (ECA) are non compulsory subjects of interest held from 2:15 – 3:15 pm on Monday to Thursday.  Extra activity fees include 2 x ECA per term. If your child would like to do 3, an extra cost is involved. Children are asked to choose their ECA’s at the start of each term. They are an important part of the children’s education here at Semarang International School and are a way in which children can express themselves creatively, physically, emotionally and socially.  They provide time for the teacher to recognize strengths and weaknesses in the child outside of academic areas and to help them develop these in a more relaxed environment. They also give the teacher an opportunity to utilize their strengths and specific interest.
